Condition of The Loft House (see pictures below)
One of the couples in our party stayed in the Loft House, with their five and two year-old children. We had major issues there for several days.

The water inside the home smelled awful when we first arrived, from every faucet. Like sewage. Colin Albury determined that the hot water heater was bad. Before replacing it he tried to fix it…on day three the water smelled like bleach and still did not get hot. Eventually on Wednesday (day five) the hot water heater was replaced and by the end of the day the Loft House finally had working hot water. This situation obviously existed for some time before our arrival. Imagine a family of four living without water for five days. Not good or what we paid for.

The set up of the Loft House is such that there is no indoor dining table or chairs, for breakfast or an occasional snack or meal. Which would be fine if you could sit or eat outside. But the shape and cleanliness of the outdoor porch and the outdoor furniture there are a joke. Please see the video and pictures below. This was really bad. Again, not anywhere near what is shown in the online advertising.

There was a spider infestation at the house (the big native Huntsman spiders). We bought some killer at the local store and got the problem under control by the end of the week. We mentioned this to Colin but just took care of it ourselves as he had enough to do.
