Condition of the Cabana - See Pictures Below
This was the worst part of our experience. The Cabana is a central gathering point for cooking and meals, given that some of the other houses on the property do not have cooking/dining facilities or cookware. It is where the infinity pool is located. Our family ate six of our seven lunches at the Cabana and seven of our eight dinners there.
Of particular note, the Sea Glass Found Found website describes the Cabana and its kitchen as a "Remodeled Chef's Kitchen".

As we got out the plates, bowls, silverware, plastic glasses, and cookware from the various cabinets to prepare for our Saturday evening dinner (our first evening, an hour or so after arrival), there was no way to describe them as anything other than filthy. We hand-washed everything we needed for that dinner (not a small effort for 15 people and for having just arrived on property, and then, as described in the Upon our Arrival section, to have no propane for the grill). When we opened the dishwasher to load it after eating dinner, we noticed the main arm that sprays water was completely broken off. We put that back on and ran the dishwasher. When the dishwasher cycle finished, not only was the arm off again, but there was two inches of filthy water at the bottom. Turns out the dishwasher had been broken for some time…the filter had not been cleaned for who-knows-how-long and the drain line was clogged/kinked. The broken dishwasher was the obvious cause of the filthy kitchen items and cookware. Colin Albury got the dishwasher fixed by late Sunday, our second day. But every plate, bowl, utensil, glass, pot, or pan that was needed to eat or cook had to be washed by hand before using it, until such time as we were certain each had been properly cleaned. This went on for most of the week and the situation obviously existed well before our arrival.

The Cabana bathrooms had not been cleaned before we arrived. Additionally there was no soap or towels in either of those bathrooms.

There was a significant leak inside the big stainless steel refrigerator. There were a couple inches of water at the bottom when we arrived – not a good smell. Colin got that fixed within 24 hours.

The general maintenance, upkeep, cleanliness, and condition of the Cabana was really bad, as shown in the pictures below. What we experienced was not as advertised. The Cabana is in need of substantial maintenance, repair, upgrades, and cleaning. Again, it serves a central gathering point for any group and it was not a welcoming environment. Also, I took pictures of the owner’s house while we were there; those are also posted below. Quite a contrast to the condition of the Cabana.

How is it that the non-Colin workers felt comfortable enough to park themselves on a picnic bench at the Cabana, put their feet up, and watch videos on their phones while guests were present??? That left me shaking my head.
Below are pictures of the owner's home, which is also located on the property. You do not stay here! Notice any difference compared to what is above?

<<<< The BBQ grill at the Cabana is located inside the kitchen. The exhaust fan necessarily needs to be run while cooking, to remove smoke and fumes. Check out this video of how the exhaust fan functions in this "Remodeled Chef's Kitchen".
